Tree Lines, 2020​

 

Final MA Art and Social Practice project with University of Highlands and Islands. 

During the first phase, I facilitated a series of walking art sessions which sought to bring community members together to creatively explore existing woodlands and create 'tree notes' which were then hand stitched into a collective concertina book. 
The second phase of the project involved the artist and participants who worked in the outdoor and environmental sectors walking to the potential tree line on local mountainsides, creating a physical line with the collective tree notes and asking questions about the future of our tree scapes.
